Getting some shuteye.

Papa Feeds Junior His Breakfast
This photo was taken on the morning of July 4, 2003 with a tripod and telephoto lens. Camera
settings are all on auto. This cardinal and her mate have been nesting in our yard for at least the last
two years. We have enjoyed watching her raise her young. Today one of the young was jumping
between a couple bushes. Mother and Dad were busy feeding the little one and trying to coax it to fly. I
was lucky enough to grab this photo.

and f-stop on auto.

This photo was take after dark and with low shutter speed on May 19, 2003. The park's flood lighting
was on.
