Depth of Field
These photos were taken at 1/60 of a second,
ISO 100. I am focusing on the lantern. Notice the change in the depth of field as the f-stop changes.
When set on "Auto", some digital cameras including mine, want to use
the lowest f-stop, also known as aperture . This may give you a very short depth of field and in
some cases, this is not desirable. If you have the luxury of manual camera
settings, you may want to choose a higher f-stop.
