Welcome… I have been gathering videos, photos and genealogy documents over the past several years. I decided to redesign my website and wish to share these with family & friends. Homestead: My grandfather’s immigration journey from Norway to Effie, MN that began in 1910. Norway: Photo videos of my 2001, 2006, 2013 and 2019 visits to Norway. I have also added Mother & Dad’s and Harvey & Allen’s trips to Norway. Family: Various family events including my my mother and dad’s 8mm family movies from the 1960’s and 1970’s. I have converted these films to digital. I have also included some more recent family videos. Izzy: A tribute to Izzy, our best friend for 14 years.

Rumble: I have several Rumble Channels. Rumble is similar to YouTube. Bustietown: The area east of Effie, MN where my grandfather homesteaded was often referred to as Bustietown. Many of my friends have written books and stories about early life in and around Bustietown. Travels: These videos and photos of events, National Parks, and other points of interest throughout the United States. Most of my travels were by motorcycle, occasionally with friends. Genealogy: I have been working on our family’s genealogy since the mid 1980’s. I thought this would be a good way to share information gathered on the Erickson/Hofstad families. As time permits, I will begin sharing what I have gathered on the Topping/Nero families. This is a work in progress. I will continue to add information and documents.
